Impressive - how much did that cost? Probably about 10 times as much as my whole ship Tongue

RE: Space is shrinking
Nice range. I am happy with my new improved Cobra. Upgraded drive to 21.6LY range yesterday. Took it on a testdrive from one end of the bubble to the other. 145.7 LY total and most jumps around 19 ly. After all jumps i had 28% fuel left so i can go around 200 ly without refueling (with long jumps).

How far can your ASP go before you need to refuel?

Nearly 40 LY max? With that range you could probably do the Galaxy Core and back in a single year, never mind five years! Big Grin

That's an interesting thought. The devs did say that they would be putting in content to make exploration viable, so between large jump distances and fuel scooping, we may be looking at much longer forays from the basecamps than we currently imagine. Excitement is building Smile

Now if they can just fix networking, grouping and trading exploration data things will look rosy.

Yup... this Confused
Spent nigh on 30 minutes going 1.4 million Ly to map the 2nd system in V1090 Herculis and got less than 300 cr Huh

This round of upgrades are about 5 million each. I had to start with the FSD just to see what it could do.

So thats about 23 million total so far. I may get to try a type-9 soon.

Yeah, for sure. During the first week of Beta 2 I'd been to the end of the tube and back in a 12/15LY range Sidey. Make that distance the radius of a sphere, and all ideas of exploring a narrow corridor along the Expedition's route suddenly become redundant.

One thing's for certain, we're not going to be short of systems to explore!

someone one the FD forum lost his asp yesterday on a colliding fed fighter.
so be careful.
it wasn't even hostile
this guy took his Aps for a fight without the insurance coverage.
(very bright)..
he dint specify the exact conditions , but if it was on a full 100% It could be a bug.
